City Championships

 Season Cancelled - March 13, 2020

Further to Hockey Calgary’s announcement earlier today regarding our program, Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta have now come out with the following announcement cancelling all sanctioned minor hockey for the remainder of the season, effective today March 13, 2020.

This means that all registered teams in the Hockey Canada (Hockey Calgary) program will not be permitted to participate in practice, play games or attend tournaments for the remainder of the season.  This includes all provincial and regional championships which will be cancelled.

THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS JAN 29, 2020

Hockey Calgary is happy to announce that the Subway® City Championships will begin on February 21, 2020 with the Elite division of Junior B and Midget AA.  Followed by Community divisions on February 25, 2020.

We are please to be hosting the Subway® City Championships Opening Ceremonies on February 25, 2020 at the Optimist Arena.  This year the feature division will be Atom 6.  We will have Trailswest 6 White vs Glenlake 6 Blue, this should prove to be a great kick-off.  Festivities will begin at 5:45 followed by the kick off game at 6:00 pm.  Come one, come all and cheer on your favorite team. #Subwaycities
