Each month, ORIZON ENERGY, a proud leader in clean, renewable energy, shines a spotlight on the brightest talent on the ice with the ORIZON ENERGY U15 PLAYER OF THE MONTH program.
Just like solar energy powers our future, these athletes power their teams with unmatched dedication, skill, and spirit. This program recognizes players who go above and beyond—whether it’s lighting up the scoreboard, showing leadership in the locker room, or demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship in the community.
The selected player receives an Orizon Energy hat, a $50 gift card and social media spotlight —celebrating their achievement and highlighting the power of clean energy in driving change, both on and off the ice.
Because when the future is solar-powered, GREATNESS SHINES BRIGHTER.
Submissions will be accepted October 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026.

As a second year player, Colby brings 110% to every game and practice. His passion for the game, his drive for a win, and his desire to be on an inclusive team, demonstrates his commitment and dedication for Hockey.
Colby also is a second year Level 1 referee, who always makes sure his counterpart is as successful during a game. Whether he is working with someone equally established in reffing, or often he is with someone who is reffing their first game, Colby is there , providing encouragement and guidance throughout the game.
Mason is a resilient force, both on and off the ice. A strong, steady leader, he sets the standard with his character, work ethic, and genuine respect for the game. His generous heart shows in the way he backs his teammates, always putting others first. Coachable, dependable, and grounded, he brings a sense of purpose to every shift. With a fun, easygoing energy and the integrity of a true sportsman, Mason is the kind of player every team is proud to have.
