The Circle K Classic is looking to fill the following roles for the 2025/26 tournament. Check out the job descriptions below and apply today!
CIRCLE K KIDS COORDINATOR
The Circle K Kids Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Circle K kids program.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Creating an application form for interested children to apply.
- Choosing 32 Circle K Kids
- Plan and execute an event in Mid-December to welcome the Circle K Kids and announce their host team
- Connecting Circle K Kids and their families to their host team
- Provide details to families and teams of their expectations and responsibilities
- Attend opening day and specifically opening ceremonies and organize Circle K Kids participation on ice during the ceremonies.
- Be available (via phone/email) for the duration of the event for any questions from either families or teams.

FRONT OF HOUSE LEAD
Duties Will include but not limited to:
- Overseeing ticketing, 50/50 sales, security and volunteers at their assigned facility for the duration of the event (Dec 27th -Jan 1st). Shifts will be 6 hours long – approximately 8am - 2pm and 2pm-8pm and can rotate between 1st and 2nd shifts. The event is held at Max Bell and 7 Chiefs arena.
- Front of house leads will be responsible for training each shift of volunteers on their assigned job role (ticket sales, 50/50 or security). Front of house leads will need to be available for volunteer questions, customer escalation issues, technology support and general trouble shooting.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner, comfortable with technology, able to make decisions on the fly and good with people. Front of house leads will have support of a committee member throughout the event for questions or trouble shooting. The compensation will be $30 per hour and will require a commitment to the entire event. Additional time expectations of Front of House leads will be training prior to the event and facility set up a few days prior to the event.

HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR
The hospitality coordinator will report to and directly support the Director of Hospitality.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Creation and distribution of Coach Welcome Baskets
- Organization and distribution of Player Welcome gifts
- Execution of Daily Scout Meal plans at Max Bell
- Purchasing and distribution of volunteer snacks to each facility prior to event.
- Purchase and distribution of gifts for Special Guests
The position requires a commitment to the duration of the event (excluding Jan 1st) and a week prior to the event. The hours will be flexible and during the event it would only be a few hours per day.
