This year 8 Atom teams from divisions 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 have been accepted to participate in the tournament. The schedules are now online and ready for you to view.
Four teams will have the chance to play live on Breakfast Television every morning! If the weather cooperates, the games will be played on outdoor rinks or lakes around Calgary (we will have indoor rinks for backup). Teams will also have the chance to vote for their division to play their Gold medal game at the Scotiabank Saddledome live on Breakfast Television.
*Please note, not all games are played in the morning. Only 2 games will be played every morning on Breakfast Television. The other games will be played in the evening in indoor rinks around Calgary.
Opening Ceremonies for the 2014 Breakfast Television Outdoor Classic is on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at 7:15 a.m. at WinSport Arena. We will have one player from each team representing their division as well as a ceremonial puck drop, speeches and our anthem singer there to kick off the tournament.
