Rules
Tie Breakers after Round Robin Play is completed:

Ties in the standings after round robin play for two teams will be broken as follows:
● The winner of the game between the two tied teams.
● If the teams tied, or did not play, the formula for tie-breaking is as follows (with largest value winning the tiebreaker): Goals For - Goals Against, Goals For + Goals Against
● If still a tie, the team with the fewest penalty minutes assessed overall; or
● If all else fails, a coin toss.
Ties in standings between three or more teams after round robin play, standing will be determined in the indicated order:
● The winner of the game between any of the other two tied teams:
● The application of the formula below shall apply, only including goals for and
against in games played amongst the tied teams: Goals For - Goals Against, Goals For + Goals Against
● the team with the most goals for during round robin play;
● if again there is a tie, the team with the fewest goals against during round robin play;
● if still a tie. the team with the fewest penalty minutes assessed overall: or
● if all else fails, a coin toss.
***NOTE If a three or more team tie is extinguished to the point of a two-team tie, revert then to the list of tie breakers as set out in the two team tie rules above.***

Tie Games in A and B Finals:
● If a B Final or A Final Game is tied at the end of regulation time, a three (3) minute, 3-on-3, sudden victory overtime period shall be played. (Three (3) skaters and one (1) goaltender, or four (4) skaters and no goaltender). Teams will not change ends for the overtime period. Overtime period will be stop time. Teams may change on the fly at any time. Goaltenders may be removed at any time during the overtime and replaced with another skater. At no time will a team have less than three (3) players on the ice. If the three (3) minute period has expired and the game remains tied, an "NHL-style" shoot-out will be held to break the tie. Each team will select three (3) players to take shots on the opposing goalie. Players from each team will alternate. Each shot will begin with the puck at center ice and the player will start their shot at the sound of the referee's whistle. In the event that the game is still tied after the first initial three players from each team have taken their shots, teams will continue to alternate players to take a shot on a "sudden-death" basis until the tie has been broken.
● No player may be selected to be a shooter a second time until all players have had an opportunity to shoot once.
● It will be the responsibility of the scorekeeper to track shooters
