Thank you everyone for your interest, the tournament is now full.
Welcome to the McKnight Mullet Mayhem tournament hosted by the McKnight U18 NBC2 team.
This is a bare bones tournament, no merchandise to purchase or raffles. Simply good fun hockey games at a low price.
All games are at West Hillhurst located at 1940 6 Avenue NW Calgary
Tournament is each team plays one game Thursday Dec 29 evening, one game Friday Dec 30 evening, and two games Saturday Dec 31 during the day, finished by 4PM so you can enjoy a Newyears eve celebration.
Cost is $1500/team.

Here are the rules we will be following please ensure your coaches are aware of them:
1. Hockey Calgary rules will be followed
- Period lengths 15,15,15. When 5 minutes left in ice time clock drops to 2 minutes after a whistle. (Stop time play).
- Teams will be given a 3 minute warm up, at the start of the ice time, regardless of it the teams are on the ice or not.
- 1 minute break between periods, please be ready to play to maximize game time.
2. No overtime in round robin (Ties are permitted), 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.
3. Each team please provide at least 1 person for the score box. The tournament will provide all game sheets and stickers for all teams.
4. No time outs will be permitted.
5. Teams are allowed to pull goalies for an extra skater.
6. Only officially rostered affiliate players will be allowed as spares. Please advise the tournament if spare are attending.
7. A/B final tiebreak will be as follows in this order until tie is broken
- Winner of tied teams round robin game
- Goals for/against differential
- If still tied then total goals for
- Least penalty minutes
- Coin toss
8. In finals if tied then 3 player shootout, home team will shoot first. If still tied after 3 shooters then sudden death. A shooter cannot shoot again until all players have taken a shot, timekeepers to keep track of all shooters.
