Calgary Royals U15AAA Preseason Tournament 2021

• This tournament is intended to be an exhibition series to assist in player evaluations.
• All games will operate under Hockey Alberta Rules and Regulations and all Hockey Alberta Minimum Suspension Guidelines will be observed.
• The Calgary Royals will provide pucks and all Timekeepers and Scorekeepers for each game.
• Format is a four-team round robin.
• At the completion of the round robin, 1vs2 and 3v4 games will be played.
• Each game will start with a 5-minute pregame warmup and will consist of three 20-minute stop time periods with an ice flood in between each period.
• If a game has not been completed with 5 minutes left in the ice permit, the clock will be dropped to 2 minutes if required.
• Teams will receive 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.
• Tiebreakers (if required) after the round robin will go in the following order:
  • Head-to-head result
  • Team with more wins
  • Plus/Minus differential
  • Team with fewest penalty minutes
