Winners: The Home Team Book Fundraiser

Hockey Calgary would like to congratulate the WINNERS of the Novice Home Team Book Fundraiser! Out of 955 books sold, 517 were Calgary Flames books.  The runner up was the Edmonton Oilers with 95 books sold. 17 teams participated in the fundraiser and and for every book sold, $1 was donated to the Flames Even Strength Program. 

The winners are:

Top 3 Teams:

  1. Glenlake Novice 6 sold 159 books
  2. NW Warriors Novice 1 sold 158 books 
  3. Midnapore Mavericks Novice 2 sold 101 books

Top 3 Individuals:

  1. Danielle Chang sold 36 books - NW Warriors Novice 7
  2. Lincoln Marquardt sold 27 books - NW Warriors Novice 1
  3. Tied for third:
    1. Jack Kearl Sold 23 books - Glenlake Hawks Novice 6​
    2. Evan Wood sold 23 books - Midnapore Mavericks Novice 2

The top 3 teams and top 3 individuals who sold the most books will recieve the following prizes from the Calgary Flames!

Top 3 Individuals:

The individual winners will recieve dinner for two in the Chrysler Club and lower bowl tickets to the Blackhawks vs. Flames game on Friday, November 20.

Top 3 teams:

The top 3 teams have the choice of watching a Flames practice from the lower bowl and will receive a Flames piece of merchandise OR they may choose to get an exclusive “behind the scenes” tour of the Saddledome!
