The NHL® is inviting fans of all ages to a free festival at the historic Fort Calgary to celebrate the launch of the 2015-16 NHL season with the 2015 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off™.

7:20 p.m. Fitz & The Tantrums’ performance on Molson Canadian Main Stage

Portions of this performance will be featured in the night’s game broadcasts.


1st intermission Reuben and the Dark performance on Molson Canadian Main Stage

This performance will take place during the 1st intermission of the Flames-Canucks game broadcast.


2nd intermission Jocelyn Alice performance on Molson Canadian Main Stage

This performance will take place during the 2nd intermission of the Flames-Canucks game broadcast.


ATTRACTIONS

Molson Canadian: Drop by the Molson Canadian Hockey House to test your skills on our Slapshot Beer Fridge for a chance to get called up to the Molson Canadian Best Seats in the House, the best place to experience NHL Face-Off. You can snap pics on our Can-mera with the Molson girls using #AnythingForHockey, and of course enjoy an ice cold Molson Canadian! (must be legal drinking age).

Scotiabank: Fans who stop by Scotiabank’s tent will receive a free Scotiabank scarf and can have their photo taken with Calgary Flames alumni Lanny McDonald, Theo Fleury and Jim Peplinski. Scotiabank will also present the Alumni in a series of one-on-one interviews followed by a group interview from the main stage. For Scotiabank customers, show any card product or mobile app at the Scotiabank Express Line for fast entry into the festival grounds.

Bridgestone: Fans are invited to test their accuracy and speed on a live goalie in the Bridgestone Slap Shot Challenge.

Honda: Stop by and try your luck at our interactive puck drop game for a chance to win exciting prizes! Need to charge your cell phone? Honda's got you covered. Test your slap shot accuracy into the back of a CR-V, or stop by, take a selfie and get an autograph from Flames Alumni Joel Otto and Rhett Warrener.

Reebok: The Reebok-CCM booth will feature CCM’s three distinct stick lines: the CCM Ribcor Reckoner; the CCM Ultra Tacks; and the CCM RBZ Speedburner. Fans will also be able to dress up in Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks gear, provided by Reebok-CCM.

Samsung: Featuring live demos and viewing stations complete with custom content, Samsung Canada is showing fans how the Galaxy Tab S2 is the ultimate second screen device that gets Canadians closer to the game.

Oh Henry!: Oh Henry! Will be running a 3-on-3 NHL Oh!vertime trivia game featuring Flames alumnus Jamie Macoun, plus a live meet and greet, cool prizes and of course, free chocolate.

Tim Hortons: Fans can stop by the Tim Hortons Truck to receive a free cup of Canada’s favourite coffee (Original Blend and Dark Roast) as well as Hot Chocolate. Ever dreamed of having your own hockey card? Well now you can! Stop by the Trading Card Zone to get your very own personalized hockey card made, courtesy of Upper Deck and Tim Hortons!

Rogers Radio: Sportsnet960 The Fan, Kiss 95.9, and 96.9 Jack FM will all broadcast live from Fort Calgary.

Mondelez: Visit the ‘Christie Are You Game Ready? Challenge’ to test your stick handling skills. Enjoy free samples of BELVITA breakfast biscuits and POTATO THINS cracker chips under the CHRISTIE Tent.

Flames® Retail: Pick up officially licensed Calgary Flames merchandise at the FanAttic merchandise trailer located on the grounds.

Live Broadcasts from Fort Calgary

Uplink Parking/Media Vehicles
The NHL has secured space for working Uplink/transmission vehicles ONLY at Fort Calgary. Parking will be assigned off 6th St. SE. (between 7th Ave. SE and 8th Ave. SE.) Space is limited and is assigned with pre-registration by NHL Communications and NHL Technical Operations.
