The Midget AA Blackhawks "From the Heart" Charity game on Nov. 26 was a huge successs both on and off the ice!
On the ice, the Blackhawks won an exciting game against the Okotoks Oilers, 3-2. More importantly, off the ice, the team raised $1508.90 thru donations, a puck toss and a 50/50 draw for the Children's Hospital Foundation. The boys dedicated the game to someone who inspires them, then gave the game worn third jersey to that person. In December, the team will visit the Children's Hospital for a cheque ceremony and a tour, to see how donations like theirs helps benefit the hospital.
