Hockey Alberta in partnership with Hockey Calgary will be offering a "Try Hockey Program" that will be made available to all children ages 9-12 who have never participated in organized hockey before. This FREE Program will include one 60 minute on ice session per week for 8 weeks. Ice times are every Wednesday from Jan. 8 - Feb. 26, 2014.
This program will be offered at no cost to the first 40 participants that complete the online registration by clicking the link: https://www.hockeycalgary.ca/forms/view/ID/198
While it is recommended that each participant bring a full set of hockey equipment, we understand that's not always financially possible. All we will require is for each kid to bring skates and a helmet. If you are interested in the program, but are unable to purchase skates and/or a helmet, please contact Lisa Rosengarten at Hockey Calgary.
This program is meant to introduce new children to the game of hockey, while providing quality instruction in a fun environment. If anyone has any questions please contact Lisa Rosengarten, Coordinator, Communications & Events at the Hockey Calgary Office, (403) 245-5773 ext. 205.
