Kevin Kobelka joins Hockey Calgary bringing strong leadership and strategic thinking skills that have been developed during his time in the consumer packaged goods industry. In this industry he held a number of roles that required strong team building and communication skills in order to be successful. His goal is to bring these skills to Hockey Calgary in order to strengthen the communication within the organization and build a strong team to move the organization forward.
Kevin is no stranger to the hockey world having been actively involved in the Calgary area in one form or another for the past 25 years. He has had the opportunity to be work with Okotoks Minor Hockey, Hockey Alberta, and Hockey Canada in numerous different roles. He has coached at every level from Initiation to the University level where he was an assistant coach for the U of C Dinos. More recently, he has served on numerous committees as well as being the Vice-President for Okotoks Minor Hockey.
We are excited to have Kevin join the Hockey Calgary Team and we are confident that he brings the necessary skills to strengthen the organization.
