Sledge Minor Hockey Night
We invite all minor hockey teams to attend the Canada vs. USA game for FREE on November 30, 2011. The craziest team (the team with the most facepaint, signs, clothing, and whatever else you might use to cheer on Team Canada), will win a pizza party and prime seats for the Gold medal sledge hockey game on December 3, 2011! You can also wear your team jersey to show your hockey pride!
If you are not playing in a minor hockey association, the cost will be $10 per ticket.
2011 World Sledge Hockey Challenge
Calgary is excited to be hosting the 2011 World Sledge Hockey Challenge at the new WinSport Canada Athletic and Ice Complex at Canada Olympic Park from Nov. 27 to Dec. 3. Sledge Hockey is the Paralympic version of ice hockey and is becoming one of the biggest attractions at the Paralympic Winter Games because of its fast-paced and highly physical nature.
Canada won gold at the last edition of the World Sledge Hockey Challenge in London, Ont. in April 2011 and is excited to be playing in Calgary, the home of Hockey Canada. These games will not dissapoint to be exciting as Canada goes for gold once again. Make sure to purchase your tickets soon so you can come and support the Canadian Sledge Hockey Team!
