Hockey Calgary is pleased to announce Dylan Olsen from Calgary, AB will be representing not only his city, but his country at the World Junior Championship in Buffalo, NY from December 26, 2010 through January 5, 2011.
Dylan Olsen was drafted 28th overall in the first round by the Chiicago Blackhawks in 2009. Currently Olsen plays for the University of Minnesota-Duluth.Olsen won a silver medal with Team Canada West at the 2008 World Junior A Challenge in Camrose, AB. He then attended Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team selection camp in Calgary, AB. Olsen was also a member of Team Pacific at the 2008 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in London, Ont. finishing fourth.
