While it is an unfortunate ending to the hockey season, Hockey Calgary decided to name a Subway City Champion and Finalist(s) for each division. Given that we were very close to finishing our playoffs, Hockey Calgary determined that the most fair and consistent way to award a winner is to select the team that remained on the ‘A-side’ of the playoff bracket. At the abrupt stoppage, these teams were the only undefeated teams in playoffs. All teams that were still in contention on the ‘B-side’ of the bracket had lost a game during playoffs and are named as finalists
