Hockey Calgary members are GIVING BACK to 3 amazing organizations! This season, parents were given the option to receive a refund of their $3 Hockey Canada Operational Fee or have it donated to charity. These donations totaled $51,426 split between KidSport Calgary, HEROS Hockey and the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation!

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees, as well as providing no-cost equipment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Calgary & Area can play a season of sport. Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $500 per child/year, for kids who live in Calgary & Area. The HEROS mission is to use the game of ice hockey to teach life-skills and empower marginalized youth. We provide free hockey programming for at risk children and youth, offering a safe and stable environment for them to grow, connect and succeed. LEARN MORE
As the official fundraising body for the Alberta Children's Hospital, all money raised by the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation is re-invested in child health needs in the hospital and across the region. Through the generosity of our community, we can provide funding for family-centred child health programs, specialized life-saving equipment and advanced pediatric research and education at the Alberta Children's Hospital.
