Naughty or Ice Pee Wee Classic

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:

Each team plays 3 games in the round robin format, plus 1 game in the finals, based on the results in the round robin play. Each game is 75 minutes in length. Each game will have a 3 minute warm up and 3-15 minute periods.

For all games: If there is less than 5 minutes remaining on the game clock, the official timekeeper MUST notify the referees and adjust the clock down to 2 minutes during the first available stoppage in play.

During Round Robin play, 2 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss.

Tie games will be permitted during round robin play. The two teams with the most points will be in the A Final. Other two teams will play in the B Final.

Each team MUST provide 2 off ice officials(time keeper/score keeper and penalty box) FOR EACH GAME.

Game sheets will be prepared and certified by each team and presented to the referees before each game. The winning team from each game will retain the yellow copy, the losing team gets the pink copy and the WHITE copy must be turned into the Team Manager of Crowfoot Coyotes

 

TIES IN STANDINGS:

If there is a tie in the standings after the round robin series is complete, ties will be broken as follows:

The winner of the game played between the two teams.
The team with the highest goals for vs goals against.
The team with the lowest penalty minutes.
If the teams are still tied, the team with the lowest penalty minutes in the game played between the two tied teams.
Final tie breaker – coin toss.

 

Ties in Finals:

If the B-final or A-final game is tied after the end of regulation time, the following procedure will be used to break a tie:

If the game is tied, a shoot-out will be held. Each team will select three(3) players to take the penalty shots. The home team decides the shooting order.

In the event the game is still tied, three(3) more different players will be chosen. This process will be followed until the tie is broken. No player may be selected to be a shooter a second time until all skaters have had the opportunity to shoot at least once.
