All games are at DOn Hartman North East Sports Plex in NE Calgary
1. Hockey Calgary rules will be followed
- Period lengths 15,15,15. When 5 minutes left in ice time clock drops to 2 minutes after a whistle. (Stop time play).
- Teams will be given a 3 minute warm up, at the start of the ice time, regardless of it the teams are on the ice or not.
- 1 minute break between periods, please be ready to play to maximize game time.
2. No overtime in round robin (Ties are permitted), 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.
3. Each team please provide at least 1 person for the score box. The tournament will provide all game sheets and stickers for all teams.
4. No time outs will be permitted.
5. Teams are allowed to pull goalies for an extra skater.
6. Only officially rostered affiliate players will be allowed as spares. Please advise the tournament if spare are attending.
7. A/B final tiebreak will be as follows in this order until tie is broken
- Winner of tied teams round robin game
- Goals for/against differential
- If still tied then total goals for
- Least penalty minutes
- Coin toss
8. In finals if tied then 3 player shootout, home team will shoot first. If still tied after 3 shooters then sudden death. A shooter cannot shoot again until all players have taken a shot, timekeepers to keep track of all shooters.
9. Please give all white game sheets to David Dixon from the Scorch, home team can keep yellow copy and away team can keep pink copy. Scorch will enter all the game sheets into Hockey Calgary
10. Home team wear light jerseys and away team wears darks.
11. Please remember your respect in sports, this is to be fun for the kids.
12. Any issues can be brought to the tournament committee. The committee decisions will be final.
