Thank you to the Beaumont Braves Atom 1 Team!

October 26, 2016

Tyson Murray from the Lake Bonavista Breakers Atom 2 team - broke his growth plate in his ankle in a hockey tourney the beginning of the month against the Beaumont Atom 1 team who the Breakers ended up losing to a well fought battle in the A final.

Tyson had surgery the Saturday night and did what he needed to do to get discharged from the hospital to cheer his team on, on the Sunday afternoon. The boys and parents from the other team were so wonderful to Shara (Tyson’s Mom) (tired and frazzled) and to Tyson with the get wells and fist pumps from the other team. Today Shara has tears of joy and Tyson cannot believe it! They received a get well card from the Beaumont Atom 1 team and a personal letter from Corbyn who gave his Gold Medal to Tyson.

“I love this sport I love this team. To the Team of Beaumont Atom 1 and to Corbyn you have put a smile on a little boy's face who really hasn't had a lot to smile about lately! You guys are a team we love to play and really knows the spirit of this game! GO BEAUMONT GO BREAKERS”
