The inaugural Colborne's Forces Benefit Concert presented by Macquarie will take place at the Military Museums of Calgary with headliner Emerson Drive and George Canyon on June 23. All proceeds will be directed to Support our Troops and The Military Museums Foundation. The outdoor country concert event will be an important fundraiser - but more importantly a unique tribute to the Canadian Armed Forces. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster and the event website www.colbornesforces.com $50.00 each. 18+

Hey Guys,
I was hoping to get in touch with the minor hockey community in regards to a concert that I am putting on to support our military and their families!
About a year ago, I was looking at ways to grow my charity - Colborne's Forces from the in-game events that I have been doing over the past two seasons. As a big country music fan, I figured putting on a concert would be a great way to raise some money for some amazing charities, while also allowing some of our armed forces to come have a fun night where they can see just how much we appreciate the sacrifices they make to help keep us safe!
Currently, we have Emerson Drive as the main act with George Canyon opening! George was generous enough to offer a 75 minute set, so in truth we really have 2 headliners! Colborne's Forces Benefit Concert presented by Macquarie will take place on Thursday, June 23rd outdoors at the Military Museums of Calgary. It is an over 18 show.
As well, we have numerous videos and presentations with military members throughout the evening that are quite impressive as well.
Attached is some information on the event and how to purchase tickets. You can also find more information at www.colbornesforces.com. We understand the state of the current economy in Alberta, but would love to have the support of the minor hockey community. I love this community and am so proud to be a born and raised Calgarian - and now living my dream playing in the NHL in my hometown. Tickets are $50.00 each with all proceeds directed to Support our Troops and The Military Museums Foundation.
