Face Off Against Cancer has raised more than $1.6 million in Alberta in the past 8 years. The goal is to raise over $400,000 locally this year.

After our founder, Lyall Marshall, lost his wife to Cancer in 2007 he set to work to create this charitable hockey tournament in her honor and to provide a legacy for his daughter, Diamond. Sadly, this past year Lyall also lost Diamond to cancer. This is why the Face Off Against Cancer committee has designated this year’s funds to pediatric cancer research.

The Society funds pediatric research that will not only lead to more life-saving discoveries, but will also improve the quality of life of children who are diagnosed with cancer.
