ELITE COACHES REQUIRED
The Girls Hockey Calgary Elite Program is looking for growth minded Coaches to help guide our AAA and AA Midget and Bantam athletes for the 2015-16 hockey season. The successful candidate must possess outstanding communication skills, strong leadership skills, and be willing to work as part of a larger group of coaches guiding our Elite program.
We offer:
- Honorariums for each teams team;
- Reimbursement for coaching certifications taking while with GHC;
- Player development resources including season and practice planning tools, off-ice conditioning programs, goaltending coach resources and video analysis programming; and
- Every staff has a mentorship program led by accredited coach mentors.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven coaching success in a competitive hockey program;
- Ability to commit to all competitions from Mid-August till the end of March;
- Ability to develop and run season plans and practice sessions to maximize player development;
- Experience with coaching female hockey an asset but not required; and
- Working towards Development 1 coach certification, Hockey Canada Safety Program, Respect in sport, Checking Skills.
