Timbits Learn To Play Program

The U7 Timbits Learn to Play Program presented by Tim Hortons returns August 29 - September 1st!

The U7 Timbits Learn to Play Hockey Program provides parents and first time U7 Timbit players an opportunity to experience U7 Timbits Hockey in a fun and educational environment. Players will participate in four (4) ice sessions conducted by instructors from Hockey Calgary with the assistance of volunteers designed around the FUNdamentals of hockey.

DATE | Monday, August 29 - Thursday, September 1, 2022
LOCATION | Max Bell Arena (1001 Barlow Trail SE)
COST | $30 paid at the time of registration *spots are limited and this program does fill fast*
ICE TIMES | You will be required to select an ice time for the duration of the program. Once your registration is submitted we will be unable to change ice times

         Session 1 -
11:45AM – 12:45PM
         Session 2 - 1:00PM – 2:00PM
         Session 3 - 2:15PM – 3:15PM
         Session 4 - 3:30PM – 4:30PM
         Session 5 - 4:45PM – 5:45PM
         Session 6 - 6:00PM – 7:00PM

WHAT DO I GET WITH MY REGISTRATION?

  • Four (4) 1-hour ice sessions
  • NEW THIS YEAR  
    • One (1) 45-minute off-ice session presented by Village Kids
    • The off-ice session will take place immediately following one of the ice times. You will be required to choose your preferred off-ice time upon registration
    • Once your registration is submitted we will be unable to change your off-ice session time

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Participants MUST be registered for the 2022-23 hockey season and will be required to select their Association upon registration. If you are not yet registered for the 2022-23 hockey season, please visit your home association website to sign up!
  • This program is open to FIRST TIME U7 Timbits players only.
  • Participants must have proper equipment (listed below) to participate. Participants without proper equipment will not be permitted to be on the ice.

    • Elbow pads
    • Jock/Jill
    • Gloves
    • Hockey pants
    • Shin pads
    • Socks
    • Stick
    • Skates
  • A waitlist will be available should the program fill up.
