2010 Hockey Calgary 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Each year Hockey Calgary gives over 13,000 children a chance to play and compete in the great game of hockey. Dedicated volunteers, member associations and board members work hard to ensure all children have the right to play, regardless of financial status. Involving children in a team sport like hockey is crucial for the development of life skills, relationships, role models and confidence. Hockey Calgary has helped raise $983,000 which has benefited 2,550 children over the past twelve years to ensure fairness and growth in hockey.
This year’s event will return to the beautiful Springbank Links Golf Club on Monday, June 28th, 2010. The day will include; 18-holes of championship golf, welcome gifts, lunch, dinner, on-course skill contests, BBQ holes, beverages, silent auction, awards, prizes and celebrities. Craig Conroy, Adrian Aucoin, Peter Maher, Peter Loubardias, Jordan Eberle, Zach Boychuk and Charlie Simmer are some of the celebrities that have attended previously.

Every year approximately 160 people attend our tournament and the success of our fundraising efforts for this event depends on sponsorship. This is where we ask for your assistance and partnership… we ask you or your business to consider sponsoring this year’s event.
